3D Virtual Tours for marketing

2020 has brought many significant challenges, some of which Orban Design is well-prepared to help our clients overcome. Providing virtual walk-throughs of your project is a great way to keep ahead of the market and bring in interest and commitments. Take a look at the examples in this Vimeo folder of a set of virtual tours for an apartment building that is currently under construction. The developer will use these walkthroughs, as well as interior 360 panoramic renderings to showcase the project to prospective tenants.

More Elliott Avenue renderings, plus other work

I’ve been keeping quite busy rendering the new projects going in at the Burnett Commons area on Elliott Avenue. This latest render is for a new apartment building the will be built West of the current Burnett entrance.burnett_apt0805-view3burnett_apt0805-view2burnett_apt0805-aer01

The renderings below are for a development proposal to show the potential use of a property that is currently a parking lot. The cut-away rendering shows the potential for structured parking under the building.

The shed rendering shows the location and design of a proposed structure in the yard. I prepared many iterations of this rendering to show different material options and post and beam configurations.

Hello 2014!

Second month into 2014 and I’m finally ready to add a new batch of renders! It’s been a very busy start to the year for me. Most other years, the beginning of the year gives me some time to catch my breath. Not so this year…

Besides my regular projects, I’ve been quite busy with testing updates to Vray for Blender. There are some very exciting developments on the horizon for the program. I’m planning to share some workflow tips once some public releases occur.vb30-nodes

First up is a new set of renders on the health club interior I first started working on back in December. I went through a few rounds of design refinement with the architect, and now the interior renders are much more realistic and exciting.stairs looking back health club loung area health club entry area street facade

I’m working on another apartment building renovation in a historic neighborhood. The existing row house is getting an extensive addition on the back, and so I’m looking at developing a sympathetic palette to integrate the new with the old.

I also have work at different scales. Below are first some product shots showing product display concepts. I’m also working on some site plan studies, but can’t post on those yet. I have many other exciting projects in development that I hope to be able to post soon!

End of the year wrap-up, various renders

It’s been a great 2013, and I am looking forward to an awesome new year! Here are a few projects from the last couple months of the year to round out this years’ posts. Again, I have a coffee shop project (see this other one for comparison.) I like how this one came out after the few rounds of client feedback. It’s fun to pop these cafe’s out, they are lively spaces.

Here’s another round of revisions on this one master suite and bathroom remodel that’s getting close to starting construction. The clients were inspired by Italian interior design, hence all the marble. I am also doing the construction documents on this one, working with the architect/ owner.

I’ve done a few renderings previously of this apartment building project. It has gone through a few iterations on materials and colors, I’ll be curious if this is the final color scheme.

This last project is one I started on just before the holidays and will continue through the new year. Right now it’s just work on the lobby/ entrance sequence, but should continue through the rest of the building space. It’s a very dynamic space, so it’s very helpful to the architect to see the way the programmatic elements interact in 3D.
